Sheriff to Serve on State Advisory Committee

LINCOLN — Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts announced appointments for numerous boards and commissions on Tuesday.
Included in the list of appointments was Polk County Sheriff Dwaine Ladwig of Osceola being appointed to the Racial Profiling Advisory Committee.

Burdette Cox
STROMSBURG NAMES HONORED VETERANS
Staff Report
Burdette F. Cox was born on November 26, 1917 in Grant, Nebraska. He graduated from Perkins County High School in 1936. He was working as a farmhand when his military service began.
He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on November 25, 1941 at Fort Crook, NE, now known as Offutt Air Force Base.
