Immunization Clinics Oct. 12, 17

The Polk County Health Department will hold immunization clinics at the Polk County Health Department in Osceola on Wednesday October 12th, 2022 from 1:30 to 3:30 and Monday, October 17th from 3:30 to 5:30. An appointment is required for compliance to the COVID-19 directives.

Pedicure Clinic

Pedicure clinics will be held at the Polk County Health Department the 1st Wednesday morning and 3rd Wednesday afternoon of every month. Please call the health department at 402-7472211 to make an appointment.

No Car Wash Coming to Stromsburg

STROMSBURG — The Stromsburg Planning Commission recommended to the city council that the property on 10th and Main remain zoned for residential. The city council went with that recommendation, so Andrew Adelson was denied his car wash at that location.

Tidyman Awarded Hometown Hero

Larry Lehn Named MCH’s Fan of the Week

Larry and Sue have been an integral part of the Stromsburg and Cross County communities since arriving to town in 1965 and 1971 respectfully.

Students Learn About Ag Safety

Cross County students recently learned many valuable lessons at Ag Safety Day. Lessons were taught through interactive demonstrations. Community presenters include Central Valley Ag, AKRS Equipment and the Polk County Rural Public Power District.
