A new Little Food Pantry has been installed on the south lawn of the Presbyterian Church in Gresham. If you have questions about the pantry please call The Presbyterian Church of Gresham 402-735-7369 and leave a message.
The High Plains gym in Polk has been closed all summer as the floors were completely redone to get ready for the upcoming falls sports season. The gym reopened last week and some of the High Plains volleyball players helped out cleaning bleachers and getting the net set up before their summer league. Photos were provided.

Hunters may purchase leftover Nebraska big game permits beginning Aug. 5.These 2026 permits, which remain from earlier application and purchase periods, may be purchased within permit limits starting at 10 a.m. Central time until they sell out.

Flatwater Landing WMA closed temporarily due to low water

Flatwater Landing Wildlife Management Area, which sits along the Platte River in Platte County, is closed temporarily to vehicle access. Extremely low water prevents access to the boat ramp by watercraft.ATVs and UTVs also currently are not allowed on the WMA.

Evangelism is sharing God’s Word, the Gospel, with others. Hopefully evangelism results in a conversion, but that doesn’t measure success. Even planting a seed is good, maybe it will grow.Sunday, the message in my church was partly on evangelism.
