The school board held their monthly board meeting on Monday, March 10th. The K-12 Science Curriculum that was updated during this school year was approved as well as the wrestling co-op with Osceola for the next two years.

STROMSBURG – Cross County met in open and public session for their board meeting on Monday, March 10th. One board member was absent.Teachers gave their recommendations for science curriculum. The board approved their recommendations.

Spring/Summer Chamber Events

Swedish Festival

The March 6th planning meeting was well attended with a lot of discussion. Entertainment for the weekend will soon be final. New items will be added so watch for future schedules.Because there will be no smorgasbord this year, the need to supply food for Taste of Sweden will increase.

Senior Center

March activities at the Osceola Senior center: March 14: Potluck at 11:30 with the Lutheran ladies hosting. They will provide the main dish and dessert. You may bring a salad or vegetable to complete the meal. All welcome for food, fun, and fellowship.
