Senior Center

Shelby Senior Center had a good turnout for the monthly birthday party Friday. Can’t believe March has arrived but it came in as a lamb. Next few days don’t sound good (weather wise).Check out our menu and join us for a meal. Corned Beef and Cabbage will be served on St. Patrick’s Day.

Stars, Stripes, and Stitches QoV group will be working at the Shelby Legion Post 296 from 9am-3pm on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Please join us for all or part of the day.Everyone is welcome to come and help make comforting and healing Quilts of Valor to honor veterans and active duty service members.

Cross County competed at the Centura Invite. First place medalists in the honors finals were Graycen Michel and Selah Theis.

Grace Notes

I grew up in a church tradition that did not stress giving up something for Lent. So when I first began “rubbing shoulders” with those who do observe this practice, I was amazed at some of the things people chose to give up for that six-week period.

Blood Drive March 10th

Cross County Student Council is sponsoring a blood drive at school on Monday, March 10th. The Red Cross is providing a scholarship to a senior. Donation times from 9 AM to 3 PM. You may contact Mitch Boshart at school, go online to www.redcrossblood.org or use the Blood Donor App on your smartphone.
