Patricia L. Wurtz, 88, of Clarks, died on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Country House Residence in Grand Island Nebraska. Memorial services will be Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Solt-Wagner Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Hartley officiating. Visitation will be Monday, October 7, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Solt-Wagner Community Room. Burial of ashes will be in the Clarks Cemetery.

Patricia was born on October 14, 1935 in Edgar, Nebraska to Floyd and Genevieve (Turner) Morris. She grew up in Clarks and attended school there. She graduated from Clarks High School in 1953.
She was united in marriage to Herbert W. Wurtz on November 20, 1955 at the United Methodist Church in Clarks. The couple lived on the family farm east of Clarks. Patricia worked at Douglas grocery store for several years.
She was a member of Clarks United Methodist Church and the Clarks VFWAuxiliary for 50 years.
Survivors include her son, Jeffery (Cindy) of Clarks, NE; daughters and sons-in-law, Julie (Daryl) VanPelt of Clarks, NE; Janet (Tim) Beck of Benedict, NE; and Jolene (Robert) Rieken of Osceola, NE; two sisters- Jan (Dale) Hogan of Lincoln, NE; Floydene Dressel of North Platte, NE; one brother-Gary (Elaine) Morris of Waverly, NE; 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, and her sister Marlene Douglas.
