Timothy Charles Beckman, age 72, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away March 5, 2026 at his home in Stromsburg.

A graveside service for family and close friends will be held Monday, March 9, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Stromsburg Cemetery. A time of fellowship with refreshments for everyone will be held at the Stromsburg United Methodist Church basement at 1:30 p.m.

Timothy was born November 13, 1953 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was lovingly adopted by Harold and Avis Beckman. He attended school in Stromsburg, graduating from Stromsburg High School in 1972. While in school Tim helped his father in the family business at Beckman Plumbing, Heating and Electric and following high school he began working there full time.

Tim was united in marriage on April 20, 1974. To this union two children, Scott and Chad were born. Tim started working for the City of Stromsburg in August of 1986 where he would be for the next 17 plus years as Water Waste Technician, licensed by the State of Nebraska.

On December 24, 2007 he was united in marriage to Jolene Rosenquist/ Hallquist.

Tim transitioned to being a private contractor to operate Water and Waste Water systems, serving various non transit sites as well as the Village of Benedict. He retired February 1, 2024 from Benedict because of health issues.

He was a member of the Stromsburg United Methodist Church and served on the Stromsburg Volunteer Fire Department.

Tim enjoyed listening to CB radio and scanners.

Survivors include his children Scott (Julie) Beckman of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and Chad (Shauna) Beckman of Lincoln; three step-daughters Staci Michel, Melinda Rosenquist and Amanda (Dylan) Burcham all of Omaha; grandchildren Daniel, Andrew and Emily of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and Livia, of Lincoln; step-grandchildren Dawson, Graycen and Rylee; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harold andAvis Beckman; his wife Jolene and adopted sister Polly Downing.

Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated later.
