REPORTER’S NOTEBOOK Just because a majority of people think something does not mean it is right. A majority of people in my household would like to eat at McDonald’s every night. If it was put up to a vote, they would probably never clean their room.

Too Much Exaggeration

“If I’ve told you once, I’ve told you a million times not to exaggerate!” That’s a funny saying I learned from friends in college. So much is exaggerated these days.

It’s a Mutiny

It took longer than I thought it would, but I have a mutiny on my hands. Easter is Sunday and this will be the second year in a row where my children will not be visiting Grandma’s house to celebrate the weekend. I really should have seen this coming. Let me back up a little.

The Nebraska Legislature only has a few weeks of session left this year. Barring a call by Governor Pillen to return for a special session, we should wrap up consideration of bills by April 18th. This past week was our first week of late nights in the legislature.
