DAVID CITY- The 1st Annual Blue River Panther Girls Wrestling Invite was held on Saturday, January 3 at David City High School.

SHELBY- The top five teams at the Shelby-RC Boys Wrestling Invite on Saturday scored in triple digits, but it was Plainview hoisting the team title with 150.5 points to second place Scotus Central Catholic with 147.5.Burwell was third with 121.

The failure rate of year-long New Years Resolution is about 85-90%.About 46% see some improvement, but eventually stop working towards their goal.I have tried to follow New Years Resolutions in the past, but 10-15 days in I start to make up excuses as to why I don’t need to do anything different.

STORM SPENDS FIRST WEEKEND OF NEW YEAR IN PLEASANTON

PLEASANTON- A total of 25 teams were in action at the Pleasanton Wrestling Invitational on Saturday.Class A Kearney was the invite champions as they slipped past Elm Creek 145.5 to 143.5.Loomis (120.5) was third, Twin Loup (107.5) was fourth and Arapahoe (106) took fifth place.

WINNEBAGO- The Lexington Minutemaids and the Millard South Patriots battled for the top spot at the Winnebago Lady Invite on Saturday, with Lexington, by virtue of their win at 235 pounds edging Millard South 169.5 to 166.5 for the team title.
